Britt conceived the idea of the rocking glass after watching an old film about propeller aircraft. These antique aircraft produced a lot of vibration, so the glasses and tableware used on board were designed not to spill - and that's how the idea of the rocking glass arose.
Besides the fact that its rocking function is fun and sometimes practical, the rocking glass is also a sensuous experience. The glass's extremely rounded shape gives you the feeling of holding a sphere in your hand, and when you put it down, the glass's rocking movements call forth a smile. The rocking glass is very sturdy, and is made to last.
You can put just about anything in it: coffee, tea, drinks, snacks, tealights or a little flower... |
