Nola was originally founded in the 1960s as a producer of playground equipment. In the year 1980 Nola transformed under the leadership of Agneta Stake, to focus solely on design and production of outdoor furniture. During the past 25 years the company has become one of Scandinavia's leading suppliers of contemporary outdoor furniture and equipment for public spaces, represented through distributors world wide.

During the last decade Nola has also focused on indoor areas, creating products that appeals to many senses through high materials and outstanding functional design.

Working with design is a way for Nola to guarantee a diverse and varied portfolio. Product developments is a result of years of experience working with customers, diffrent materials and manufacturing methods to create a special product mix for both outdoor and indoor use. Many products are specially designed for certain projects, parks or municipalities and subsequently included into the standard range.
